ÓSCAR PÉREZ: LIBERTADOR (2018, USA)

Una mirada a la vida y muerte de Óscar Pérez y su grupo. El lunes 15 de enero de 2018, desde una casa en el Junquito, Pérez comunicó todo lo que pasaba a través de las redes sociales, donde publicó videos en los que se lo veía ensangrentado, desesperado, pidiendo el cese del fuego, mostrándose dispuesto a entregarse. Hasta ahí, el relato de su muerte narrada en primera persona. Luego, a pesar de la versión oficial de la dictadura, sabemos que finalmente todos terminaron ejecutados extrajudicialmente por las fuerzas del narco régimen de Nicolás Maduro. Este corto es un homenaje a un héroe del pueblo de Venezuela, convertido ahora en un símbolo de la resistencia. Óscar Alberto Pérez (Caracas, Distrito Capital, Venezuela, 7 de abril de 1981-El Junquito, Distrito Capital, Venezuela, 15 de enero de 2018). Policía, actor, adiestrador canino, buzo, paracaidista militar, piloto e inspector del Cuerpo de Investigaciones Científicas Penales y Criminalísticas de Venezuela (CICPC) y además, colaboraba con fundaciones que ayudan a niños. Es reconocido por haber sido líder de la resistencia en contra de la narcodictadura de Nicolás Maduro, participó en el ataque al Tribunal Supremo de Justicia de Venezuela de 2017 donde nadie resultó herido.
